2017 Oregon Opportunity Network Conference- Led a panel discussing the likely changes to the LIHTC program based on the Income Tax Plan President Trump discussed during the presidential campaign.  We also discussed how investors responded to Donald Trump’s election as President.

2016 Oregon Opportunity Network Conference – CASA Equity Plan. Discussed CASA’s recently approved equity plan that included input from all CASA staff members as well as board participation.

2016 CASA Farmworker Housing Conference – Preserving Expiring Rural Development Properties. Discussed strategies to address the properties in the Rural Development portfolio that will lose their project based rental assistance when their existing loans pay off.

2016 CASA Equity Plan. Led the team that finalized the CASA Equity Plan.

2016 WNHS Camas Commons Year 15 Analysis – Provided recommendations on negotiating with investor upon expiration of LIHTC 15-year compliance requirements.

1997 Housing Cost Study – Co-authored with Will White and Robert Bole. A statistically valid analysis of the costs of 69 properties developed in the Portland Metropolitan region between 1994 and 1997. The study compared the costs of 47 properties developed by government agencies, nonprofit organizations and community development corporations to 22 properties developed by for-profit developers.
